MapText, Inc. is excited to announce a partnership with Eos Positioning Systems, a leading provider of highly accurate GPS receivers for a wide range of applications. MapText's mobile application FieldMap integrates seamlessly with Eos GPS receivers via Apple's external accessory interface. FieldMap automatically detects the presence of a bluetooth-connected Eos GPS receiver and consumes its streamed highly accurate positioning information that enables a user to:

  • Locate one's position on a dynamically generated offline map

  • Collect the position of new assets or correct the position of existing assets with sub meter to centimeter accuracy

  • Collect one's positional coordinates in a form

  • Find an obscured asset using its augmented reality viewer.
