Label-EZ/Label-Edit now supports ESRI's ArcGIS Pro!

We're excited to announce that a new version of Label-EZ/Label-Edit that supports ESRI's ArcGIS Pro is now available! Label-EZ for Pro supports the same automatic labeling capabilities that exist for output to ESRI ArcMap which include:

  • Automatic leadering of labels with various leader line styles and arrow heads.

  • Automatic keynumbering of labels and creation of keytables on the map

  • Automatic masking of lines by labels

  • Automatic point, line, and area feature labeling via easily configured placement rules specified in an intuitive way that a human cartographer thinks

  • Automatic regular cyclical updates of a map's label content that honors overlap avoidance of all labels as a whole.

  • Automatic labeling of batches of maps potentially targeting different Pro projects.

  • Automatic elimination of duplicate labels along divided road pairs

  • Multi-line labels built from multiple fonts, colors, and font sizes, and symbols with advanced flexible layouts to support sophisticated applications such as aeronautical charts.

  • Powerful label editing tools that include re-shaping a label along a line feature to conform to its shape.

An included annotation migration tool enables you to easily migrate existing ArcMap Label-EZ-generated annotation datasets into the Pro database format. Label-EZ labels your map substantially faster than any other labeling system with a significantly higher quality output.
